Frequently asked Questions
Applications must be completed using our online application form. Placements can be very competitive, to get the best placement position you will need to apply at least a month in advance.
When is the application deadline?
We recommend that you apply at least a month before you would like your internship to start to ensure we have enough time to find the most suitable placement as well as provide logistical assistance. It is advised that you leave at least one week for the processing of your visa. We will accept late applications, contact us to discuss your needs.
Is the internship program open to all nationalities?
Our programs are open to applicants of all nationalities.
Do I need to know how to speak Chinese (Mandarin)?
Our only language requirement is that you speak fluent English. Most of your Chinese colleagues at your placement company will be able to speak some English. We also ensure that your supervisor is fluent in English to not only help mentor you for the duration of your internship program, but also to provide structure and support throughout your work experience.
How long does an internship last?
The duration of an internship is dependent on the applicant. Internships can last from one to 12 months. However, short-term internships of a month aren’t common as most internship host companies wish the interns to stay on for a bit longer to properly learn about the work.
What is the ideal duration of an internship?
We have found that applicants who intern for three months or longer get the most out of their experience for both the company and the intern.
